WHY YOU SHOULD USE THE JETBLUE CHALLENGE

How would you like to conduct golf tournaments that entertain your guests while simultaneously generating revenue? Would you like to have a one-stop shop for all of your golf tournament needs? Would you like to have quality prizes for all of your par 3 prize holes? An exciting Shoot-Out opportunity for qualifying players? Colana Sports Group, Inc. (“CSG”) can provide you with such a program. The JetBlue Challenge (“JBC”) is a successful golf tournament enhancement program that is revolutionizing the industry.

The JBC offers charity, club and celebrity golf events a turnkey enhancement solution by creating a comprehensive par 3 Shoot-Out program. Consisting of a combined hole-in-one and closest-to-the-pin contest on each par 3, event participants are offered multiple ways to win. The JBC Program provides all of the necessary tools for a successful golf tournament. It offers a positive option to what has become commonplace in the golf industry…paying too much for HIO prize coverage when most golfers don't even hit the green.

The JBC has become the fastest growing event enhancement solution based on the attractive value proposition it presents to golf tournament organizers. By creating added value for participants and providing trips, airline tickets and golf equipment as prizes, organizers can easily turn their program investment into a revenue generator. As a result, The JBC has amassed a client list of more than 1,000 tournaments in JetBlue gateway cities across the U.S.

Often, while coordinating my own events, I would ask a local automobile dealership to donate a car for a HIO prize. A typical response would be, “You have to cover the cost of insurance.” Or, “I'll cover it, but you have to give me a two-some or a four-some at your event in exchange.” Well, covering the insurance policy or bartering player slots still costs money and drains your bottom line. Our research indicates that most automobile dealerships won't donate this service due to the costs but, they do like the exposure these types of events offer. If you desire a car as a HIO prize, you may opt to use the $50,000 Shoot-Out insurance policy included within The JBC package. It will cover the cost of a two-year lease for most vehicles and you don't have to go to an automobile dealership to supply the prize. In fact, through The JBC, you can create a sponsorship opportunity for the dealership, offer them exposure and access to your participants and have them pay you!

The same, old “automobile dealership” thought process applies to all of the other HIO prize programs available today. Can you show me a program that delivers actual value to the client? All the HIO programs I have come across are profit driven programs that charge exorbitant fees and deliver very little in real value. Everything is hole-in-one based and the value of the associated prizes varies by the degree of difficulty on each par 3. You can win a luxury cruise or a Mercedes-Benz, but the par 3 hole distance is probably required to be a minimum of 185 yards. Good Luck! It would be difficult for most golfers to be within five yards of the green. Most HIO companies offer one great prize that must be situated on the furthest par 3 hole, assuring them of a very remote chance that anyone will ever win the premium prize. In conjunction with this, they offer lesser valued prizes for the shorter par 3 holes (a camcorder, his & her watches a set of golf clubs, etc.) all valued at a couple of hundred bucks each. With the money they charge for the overall package, they can afford to award these lesser valued prizes all day long!

As I mentioned, I have coordinated numerous golf tournaments for various charities and I would receive emails from HIO companies offering what looks to be a great deal. The emails would go on to explain how they want to help me help my charity. After experiencing their great deals, I've come to learn that these emails should simply say, “ Hi, I thought I would shoot you an email to see if we could help ourselves . We offer you no help whatsoever! I respect your privacy, but not your intelligence!” This is the reason The JBC was developed. I became frustrated trying to find an alternative to giving away the revenue my committee was working so hard to generate. With The JBC, we set out to change the rules of this game by offering tournament organizers a positive option to what has become commonplace in this industry…HIO insurance companies making huge profits at the expense of charity golf tournaments!

Some of the unique aspects of The JBC program include no witnesses or minimum distances required on any of the par 3 prize holes during the tournament. A HIO winner gets to choose any JBC resort property they would like to visit, regardless of which par 3 the HIO occurred on. We brought the Shoot-Out distance in closer (to 150 yards) and we do not require video-taped proof of the million dollar Shoot-Out as verification of a winner. However, the most unique aspect of The JBC is we allow a second shot (the revenue generating JBC Mulligan) on the shortest par 3 prize hole. This actually increases the odds of a winner! No other hole-in-one program offers all of this.

CSG has designed a variety of JBC packages; each one delivering its own unique value and customized to fit any and all of your tournament needs. We offer you packages that have the ability to pay for themselves, create profit and entertain your players too! You can choose to utilize The JBC Mulligan, raise additional monies with the airline tickets and/or Nike product and even provide golf balls and other prizes to your players. With one phone call, we will provide you with all you need to run a successful golf tournament. One phone call and you're done! Now, you can focus on other important matters at hand like signing up your four-somes and attracting sponsors.

CSG has partnered with recognized industry leaders like Coca-Cola, Nike Golf, Parsons Kellogg and JetBlue Airways to develop The JBC. When one of our partners receives a solicitation for a donation to a golf outing, they quickly refer The JetBlue Challenge as an opportunity to enhance that tournament and create profit. Our partners help to keep the cost of the JBC packages reasonable so, quite simply, there is profit potential for the tournament. This is why our approach is so different. We are not trying to profit from the hard work of a charity committee whose goal is to raise revenue for their particular cause. CSG is interested in partnering with our clientele. We don't look to sell you a package, dump it in your lap and say call us again next year. We are not interested in pushing something on you that you don't need for your event. The JBC is all about customer service. We work with our clients to develop and customize a program that not only entertains your players but will maximize the revenue generating potential of your event. Our reward for this effort is gaining exposure for our partners.

CSG and The JetBlue Challenge encourage you to ask your current golf tournament HIO provider to provide you with all the items that come with The JBC for the same low price we charge. When they can not, give us a call at 1-888-584-9544 or simply Order Now !
